StationeryFest 2025: A Wonderful Celebration for Stationery & Journaling Lovers!
Hi lovely people! It’s been a little while since I last checked in — life has been busy here as we prepared for our biggest event of the year: StationeryFest! Can you believe it was nearly two weeks ago? We had the most amazing time meeting so many wonderful members of our community and catching up with my small business friends.
This was my second year attending this incredible stationery event, and I wanted to share my experience with you — plus why I truly believe StationeryFest is a must-attend event for anyone who loves stationery, planners, and journaling.
What is StationeryFest?
StationeryFest is the ultimate event for stationery enthusiasts, journalers, and planner addicts. It’s a fantastic place to explore new stationery products, connect with like-minded creatives, participate in inspiring workshops, and shop from your favourite small businesses.
This year, StationeryFest took place at The Edge in Wigan — although in previous years, the event was held at Manchester Central. The venue at The Edge was lovely, divided into several rooms, encouraging attendees to explore different halls and vendors. While the layout was a bit different from the single main exhibition hall at Manchester Central, I enjoyed the unique vibe of this year’s setup, personally, I’d love to see StationeryFest return to Manchester Central in the future to enhance the community experience for all.
My StationeryFest Experience
For this year’s event, I tweaked our table setup based on my experience at artist alleys during comic cons across the country. I designed a setup that’s easy to pack into a suitcase and quick to assemble, while still showcasing our products in a shopper-friendly way.
Our table was located in the Auditorium, surrounded by other amazing creators. Behind us, a video played showing highlights from previous StationeryFest events — a perfect touch to remind us why this community is so special.
The event was truly enjoyable, especially because I got to introduce several new products and see customers’ real-time reactions and get some much appreciated feedback. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello — your support means the world to me!
This year, I brought along new handmade notebooks, planner stickers, and eraser sets to complement our existing range. Our notebooks, planner stickers, and the lucky dip arcade machine were the biggest hits, with some items selling out completely! You guys are amazing!
What’s next for The Oddbodd Stop?
StationeryFest was incredibly inspiring and has energised me for the rest of the year. I’m already excited to create new and exciting products to bring to future events like StationeryFest! If you attended, I’d love to hear about your favourite moments and what was your highlight of the day! I can’t wait for next years event and I will hopefully be bringing some new and exciting products! Next for us is to begin preparing for CraftFest, which I’ll share more about in an upcoming blog post.
